So you want to make money with Google Adsense? I don’t blame you, who doesn’t want residual income! This article will show you how to better optimize Google Adsense to make more money from your web site(s).

First and foremost is: Positioning

Where you position your Adsense link boxes and banner ads is extremely important. Trying to make money from the bottom of your pages within your website just won’t cut it. You need to add your Adsense links right in the heart of your template or right in the heart of your content. I would personally suggest both actually.

Adding Adsense in the heart of your template:

Link Units:

Since the introduction of Google Adsense “link units”, we can now add what looks like a “menu system” to compliment our menu system within our website. This is HUGE. Have you ever just clicked on a website and kept clicking on the menu links? I know we all have. By adding a “Google link units” to your menu, you will get more clicks than you thought possible. Try adding the link units near the top for better performance and try creating your link units to match the color of your menu system in place. Once in a while I find myself clicking on a menu link unit without even realizing it which in turn gives more money to the website owner.

Google is all set to launch the beta version of the Open Source Browser Chrome, as evident from the popularity of other products by Google, Chrome will be a nightmare for Microsoft’s Internet Explorer and Mozilla. Chrome will be launched in more than 100 countries.



By keeping each tab in an isolated “sandbox”, we were able to prevent one tab from crashing another and provide improved protection from rogue sites. We improved speed and responsiveness across the board. We also built a more powerful JavaScript engine, V8, to power the next generation of web applications that aren’t even possible in today’s browsers - was written by Sundar Pichai VP Product Management, and Linus Upson, Engineering Director in the official google blog.

This is just the beginning — Google Chrome is far from done. We’re releasing this beta for Windows to start the broader discussion and hear from you as quickly as possible. We’re hard at work building versions for Mac and Linux too, and will continue to make it even faster and more robust - he said.

Google was apparently looking to keep news of Chrome under wraps until after the holiday weekend. A 38-page, online comic book that provided details about Chrome hit the blogosphere Monday morning, but Pichai and Upson said in their blog post that Google had “hit ’send’ a bit early” on the web comic.

The comic depicts various Google engineers describing Chrome’s features, including the isolated tab idea.

Following are some of the features of Chrome

* An address bar with auto-completion features called “omnibox.”
* The V8 JavaScript virtual machine, advertised as significantly faster than existing JavaScript engine implementations.
* A privacy mode, called “Incognito”.
* Web applications can be launched in their own browser window without an address bar and toolbar.
* Chrome includes an automatically updated phishing and malware blacklist using the Google Safe Browsing API.
* Uses the WebKit Rendering Engine.
* Puts individual tabs and plug-ins into separate processes, for security and accountability.
* Integration of Gears.

No intrusive download manager; you see your download’s status at the bottom of your current window.
